Made from expanded starch, this revolutionary eco-friendly alternative to nasty polystyrene pellets is 100% compostable and biodegradable, with no disposal costs or need to add to landfill. These pellets are used to make sure the contents of your box arrives to you safe and sound. You can use them again for packing, crafts, keeping the kids entertained (they love squishing them) and when you are finished with them all you need to do is dissolve them in water or place in your compost bin.

P.S. The twine used on the outside of your box is made from 100% organic hemp from Trade Aid so is also safe to compost. How neat is that?
